Overview of Lan Ha Bay

Being the smallest bay among the three bays of UNESSCO Halong world heritage site, Lan Ha Bay is no less charming than its two sisters with thousands of small limestone islets resembling dragons emerging from emerald green water, more than 139 unspoilt beaches together with many fishing villages and cruise ships. Often refered to as the hidden gem of the Gulf of Tonkin, Lan Ha is where human's activities and the nature collide, forming a balance between the sea and the sky, water and land, people and their surrounding environment. Also, tourists seeking the beauty of nature would be amazed by the diversity of plants and animals in the regions with thousands of species, many of which can only be found there. The area is full of nature reserves such as Cat Ba National park or Monkey island but with very few limits to travellers.

Exploring the beauty of Lan Ha, don't forget to take a trekking trip in the Cat Ba National Park to admire the beauty that the nature has granted. Camping is also possible at small but pristine beaches in islands around Lan Ha. Light and Dark Cave is also a location worth mentioning with very special geographical structure, enabling kayaking trips to right at the entrance of the cave.
