Consisting of 4 coaches, Family Express Train offers 2 types of cabins:

Deluxe 4-berth cabin
VIP cabin 2 berths (it is set up from cabin 4 berths - folding 2 upper berths)
VIP cabin/ cabin 2 berth must be bought as a whole. A single person who travels in a VIP cabin must buy both tickets.

Pick-up & Drop-off

Before 21:30: Arrived at Hanoi Train Station, 120 Le Duan Street, Hanoi City for check-in procedure. Your online ticket would be exchanged for paper tickets at this point.

22:40: Train departs for Lao Cai Train Station.

06:30: Arrives at Lao Cai Train Station.

Note: The distance between Lao Cai Train Station and Sapa Town is about 40km. Some forms of transportation are needed to enter the city

Special Note

There is one restroom on every coach and is only open when the train runs.
Offering slippers, snacks or biscuits, mineral water, and large luggage storage for free.
