Recommended sleeper bus to Hanoi; cheaper than plane The sleeper bus to Hanoi wqs such an adventure. Left Da Nang by 6:30PM and there was stopover every two hours usually for toilet. The bus was clean (no shoes allowed inside, they give us plastic bag to carry shoes inside) and slippers were provided every time we step out. My lower cabin unit is also clean, well ventilated with tv and charging socket, window view, pillows and blanket. The drive was safe so I slept peacefully; saved me one night in hotel stay. Finally, arrived in Hanoi by 9:30AM and my luggage was safely kept in the bus under compartment.
Recommended if you’re not in a rush A nice experience, especially the food and entertainment car. We were pleasantly surprised to see 90% locals enjoying the trip. Only con was it was longer than planned.

Much better than the bus. Hanoi to Lao Cai night train. Leave at 9.20 pm, we booked a 2 berth cabin, no sharing with strangers. 2 bunk beds, pillows and blanket. Bed side table with a cold beer and coke, bananas, biscuits and nuts are a nice touch. Hot coffee and tea arrive as we depart. Great views of Hanoi as we slowly leave the city. Sleep well as we rattle and sway through the night. Shortly before we arrive in Lao Cai there is a knock on the door and coffee and breakfast bars delivered. The train was way better than the return trip by road.
Very convenient! Friendly customer service and legit service too! when i first came to hanoi. all i want a straight transportation to Sa Pa town ASAP. since i arrive at noon, the only bus that departed from Hanoi center to Sa Pa is 10pm. since i don't want to waste my time, i found A21 tours in the internet and they provided an airport transfer straight to Sa Pa! just what i wanted! i took the luxury limo throught their customer service whatsapp service and they reply me zap! just a second! they also give a free snack and drinks, and don't forget free coffee too! the driver couldn't speak any english words but it's okay, i always have google translate to communicate with him. the driver also send in front of my hotel! he's really nice and helpful too! when i back to Hanoi city, i also book from them but with sleeper green bus. one thing is you need to walk to their place (google map given) to depart from Sa Pa. i just slept along the way inside the bus because i am so tired from all those hikes and walks. they stop at Old quarter just 5min walks to my hostel. the conductor bus is also helpful. and yes i recommend using their service. really helpful and easy too! im looking forward to come hanoi next time and use their service again! We took the train from Da Nang to Hue. We wanted a little more privacy and space, so we got a 4 person sleeper cabin for 2 of us. It was about $18 USD and well worth it. There were 2 bunk bed style beds, a little table and power outlets and AC. You can close the door for more privacy. They give you a flat sheet that you can put on your little mattress. It was a little dirty from the people prior to us, and I had brought some wet wipes to wipe the table off (which I would recommend). On your boarding receipt there will be the assignment of the train car and the cabin number. The scenery is really quite pretty along the way. It’s about 3 hours. I did not use the bathroom along the way, but my boyfriend said it was a little dirty and one of those squatting type of toilets. Once getting out of the train, cab drivers were waiting to take us to our hotel in Hue.
Comfortable overnight train to SAPA. Deciding which private carriage to go with on your overnight trip to SAPA can be difficult. We booked and paid for our passage at the office in Hanoi, which was an easy process. Having traveled with ET -Pumpkin I can only comment on this one and other carriages on the same train. All seemed to be very similar in comfort. We paid for a VIP 2 berth soft sleeper, which I figured meant that the top bunks were folded back so that we had more room, and that the mattresses from those bunks were transferred to our bunks. The result was indeed comfortable. I think perhaps if you paid half the price for two bunks in a 4 berth you may well get virtually the same thing, but we wanted to be sure we had the cabin to ourselves. As it was, the carriage was by no means full, and the attendants locked any unused cabins. Bedding was clean and monogrammed. We had two warm blankets and pillows each. The cabin was cosy (all carriages are the same in lay-out) with wood paneling. There was A/C (good), power and lights but not much else. At the end of the carriage there is a small wash room (which unfortunately did not have soap in the dispenser) and separate small toilet. Lots of fun getting that task accomplished with the train bouncing around. Not permitted to use toilet when train stationary-guess why. There is no "dining carriage" but someone came through with snacks and drinks before we departed and I think she remained on the train. You can pass between the carriages as much as you want. It can be quite a social experience if you want that. Our carriage had at least one "attendant". They sleep in a very confined multi-purpose room at the end of the carriage, although we saw him curled up on an unused passenger bunk-would be much more comfortable. I slept very well on the way up. The train itself rocked around a lot but every carriage would have the same experience no matter how much you paid. Pumpkin will arrange for you to be picked up at Loa Cai in the early morning and taken to you hotel in Sapa (about an hour on a winding mountain road with a lot of trucks and crazy drivers). We even got free transport from out hotel at Hanoi to the train station. There is not much to see from the train at night, and in fact the trip is over before you know it. I would recommend ET-Pumpkin for a fun and comfortable overnight train experience to Lao Cai (SAPA). TIP: Beware of locals offering transport to SAPA for huge amounts of money. Ensure that all pick-ups (from train and hotel) are confirmed and that someone will be waiting (with your name on a sign) at Lao Cai station for transport to SAPA. ET Pumpkin office at Lao Cai is to your right, once outside the Lao Cai station (inside a cafe) if you need help.
Amazing View It is an amazing journey with amazing and very unique views specially from Lang Co to Da Nang. Try to stay in the window seat in the sea view side. The train was on time.

We used this company to book our train ticket from Hue to Danang. Their service was excellent! They were very prompt in replying to my requests and to give me further instructions. I was notified as soon as payment went through and sent me the e ticket almost straight away. The instructions on how to catch the train was very clear. Hassle free trip from Hanoi to Sapa -VIP bus Me and my siblings were planning to go from Hanoi to Sapa. Till we realized we haven't book our sleeper bus. We searched and came across A21 tours and tried to see if we can still be accommodated provided that the booking was done less than 24 hours. We booked online, and pro actively we have also sent a message in Whatsapp to ensure that once payment is done, we can get the e-ticket confirmation. To our surprise, just around 4-5 hours, they have reached out to us to guide us on the payment process and the issuance of the e-ticket as well. I have been waiting a long time to do this trip and it was most worthwhile. Some great reviews below describe things better than I can. Online booking was easy I booked two way VIP 2 berth cabin… read the confirmation email well for connecting with the agent at the station second floor. The carriage was classic, vintage feel with wood panelling and delightful decor. Fruit beer and snacks provided. Power in the cabin. Excellent sleep , bedding good and clean. Despite many stops (single track) the journey was enjoyable. Dawn scenery of the Red River was a bonus. Wake up call and a powerful 3 in 1 Vietnamese coffee as a heart starter. Just great!

Green bus Sapa provides super comfortable journey from Hanoi to Sapa and vice versa. The recliner seats are super comfy. The ticket costs nominal for a 6 h journey. The bus is very clean and they maintain them well. Shoes are to be kept in plastic bags before boarding the bus. Spare slippers provided at every stop point. Very punctual and super clear instructions and directions provided by our guide Bella. Driver Mr Chin drove smoothly the whole time.

Comfortable transfer We booked a return transfer from Hanoi Old Quarter to Sapa in November for the two of us. We paid slightly more for the VIP seats of Hanoi Sapa limousine, which can be lowered for more comfortable ride. The pick up was timely and the ride was comfortable. The vehicle comes with USB charging Point, free wifi, a bottle of water and bread. At one of the rest stop, we were also given a voucher to redeem for either coffee, tea or Hanoi beer. AMAZING SERVICE. Wow!! I was truly blown away by the amazing service A21 provided. This is a better connection service than I have experienced anywhere in the U.S. and Europe, and I have traveled quite a few places. The company is so incredibly organized. I got off my plane in Hanoi and didn’t know how to get to Ha Long Bay, I found their information online and they showed up within 20mins!! The entire time everything was so organized and effortless. The van was super comfortable and quick, we had free WiFi in the van the entire way to Ha Long, chargers, water and blankets. Da Nang to Hue HD4 Train A21 organised our train from Hue to Danang and it was quick and easy. They got us good seats with our 18 month old and we had a great time on the train - It was clean, spacious, air conditioned and they even had local musicians on the train which our baby loved! Would definitely recommend.
I had never heard of A21, before they randomly showed up in a Google search for transfer between Quy Nhon and Da Nang. We have before used 12go Asia, with very poor customer service, and I really tried to find an alternative because we have gad so many bad experiences. So finding A21 was a luck! A21 responded so quickly and gave us very accurate information. We took the bus from HCM to Mui Ne. It was new and very well-equipped. Upon boarding, we were offered a bottle of water and a wet tissue. The seats were so comfortable that we could adjust the angle, and there was a tablet for listening to music and watching movies. In addition, there were clean blankets sealed in plastic bags for us to use. Everything was perfect! I would totally recommend it.
Direct Transfer from Cat Ba island to Hanoi international airport. We booked a direct transfer from Cat Ba island to Hanoi Noi Bai airport using A21 tours. The driver picked us up early and dropped us off in plenty time for our flight. The Vicsapa train was very comfortable with tasty treats and water, tea and coffee. Air conditioning and a drinks trolley came down the carriage early in the trip and sold cold drinks, wine and snacks. The bed was made with white crisp sheets and doona. Still as it is an old train it is quite noisy but still fun and a great way to travel to the beautiful Sapa in the mountains.

Customized tour and transfer for 6 people. The services provided by A21 were excellent. All our transfer services (from Hanoi airport to Sapa, Sapa to Hanoi hotel and hotel to airport) arrived on time. The drivers were courteous too. We were even provided water and snacks on our 5 hrs drive from Sapa to Hanoi and there was free WiFi in all their transportations. We likewise availed of their Halong Bay tour and half-day Hanoi city tour. The guides that we had (Ms. Emma and Mr. Cheongsam, respectively) were knowledgeable and spoke decent English. We recommend that you wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes if you’ll join the short trek in Halong Bay. The climb is not recommended for those with weak knees. Make sure to bring some snacks too as lunch was served late. Don’t expect you’ll be able to go for a good swim once you get to one of the islands. The swimming area and time allotted were limited. Also, there were no shower areas and changing areas. Overall, we were very satisfied with the A21 services. Communication was easy via email and WhatsApp. Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. It’s a very reliable company and I would highly recommend it. 8 hours - Overnight Train to Sapa. We booked directly online. Everything went smoothly. We were upgraded from superior to deluxe cabin that sleeps 4 people. So we had to share with another couple, which was fine because we all slept the whole way. There was free water or beer, bananas, chips, and free WiFi. The beds were very clean and even the bathroom were not that bad. It is an excellent way to go to Sapa and you save one nights hotel bill while traveling. If you get motion sickness be warned this train goes up and down and sways side to side, all at the same time, it is quite bumpy and noisy. Not to mention it makes a lot of stops along the way. Earplugs and Dramamine might help.
Best way to get to Sapa from Hanoi! Booked the cabin with 4 beds. Journey was about 8 hours. Experience was pretty good, and slept quite well. The beds were reasonably clean and comfortable. Free mineral water, snacks, toothpaste and toothbrush were provided. But would suggest to try not to use the toilets if possible. Overall good experience, train timing was punctual. Overnight train a good way to get from Hanoi to Sapa.
Probably the most comfortable way from Hanoi to Sa Pa. We booked the VIP version, two bed cabin of King Express train. It was reasonably clean. We did not see any bugs or vermin. Toilettes were ok. We did get some sleep. The train was very punctual both times. The train took 7.5 hours from Hanoi to Lao Cai. The employees in the train sell you staff that is actually free. I paid for the tee anyway because these people are very poor and it is very little they charge. When you arrive at La Coi station, there are lots of Minibuses that take you to Sa Pa for small money. This takes about one hour. The drivers already wait in front of the train. It is safe to go with them, no scam.
Convenient and easy. The distribution of reviews on here doesn't look good - so in fairness I thought I'd update with my review because our experience was quite positive. We took the Fansipan express from Sapa back to Hanoi on 29/9/19 leaving at 13:30, checkin was smooth(ish) - its a scruffy office on a chaotic street where you wait but this is Sapa in Vietnam after all - so expoected. Bus is confortable enough, Im 1.73m and had plenty of legroom, the berth is private with a curtain. Its a big bus. The road leaving Sapa is tight and twisty for th first hour down to the highway at Lao Cai, so this isnt airplane or train smoothness - however it was fine in the day. Once on the highway the driver drove at a steady 100km/hr (checked with GPS) there didnt seem to be any taumatic moments - the general standard of driving in VIetnam is pretty poor and our driver seemed to cope well - even when you come across 2 trucks stopped on the highway blocking both lanes with one reversing!!! By the time we got into Hanoi the drivers favourite control seemed to be the horn as I think we were running 15min late. We took this bus not because we expected a really smooth comfortable sleep and not because its cheap - its just that it IS comfortable and it leaves at a very convenient time allowing a hotel checkout at midday and then a 13:30 departure. Itys a 5.5hr drive to Hanoi - even if you take the train you have to get a bus or taxi down to Lao Cai for the first hour anyway - if you've got luggage or cases this is easier than dragging onto a train as well - as there was loads of storage space as in all long distance coaches. Coach made 2 stops on way back - strange open sided supermarkets selling some strange stuff alongside touirist 'tat', beware you need 3k dong to pay for the toilets! Make sure you;ve got some small notes. To be honest there isn't much alternative for getting to and from Sapa, trains are slow and go overnight only to Lao Cai, a private taxi would be expensive - and seeing the driving standards in Vietnam I'd rather be on a big bus! Also Im sure some of the more negative views on here are for the wrong bus - this coach as in the main picture is orange and black - its called a VIP cabin bus, some of the pictures of the interior are for a different bus. We would use again because of the convenience.

Great service, awesome ride! My boyfriend and I booked yesterday and took the ride this morning. The communication was fantastic, quick responding and very friendly via whatsapp. The car was extremely comfortable, neat and clean. The driver was on time and took one break at a convenient spot on our trip from Hanoi to Ha Long. I even forgot my phone in the van, and they managed to bring it back to me right away - again I am grateful for their quick response, when we texted them about it. It was also very cheap, considering the comfort and the bottle of water each passenger got. We had a great ride here and I can only recommend to book your ride with A21. We'll be back soon :)

Quick sell for an awesome place and wonderful service. Had a short chat over whatsapp late night for the next morning departure from Hanoi. Opted for private cab.. had a lazy start for an awesome afternoon cruise and activities. Mind you Titop island climb needs a bit fitness but halfway point up itself is a treat to watch. Caves/water/hill/limestones/beach/food/cruise cabin - all upto an A+ class experience. Would definitely come back !
Hanoi/Sapa/Hanoi journey We were 2 adults and 3 children traveling to Sapa from Hanoi and back to Hanoi last week. We booked a shared journey but had the minibus to ourselves on the way to Sapa which was a real treat. The reclining seats are very comfortable, there is reasonable wifi on board which was a benefit we hadn't realised when booking, charging ports for each seat. On our return to Hanoi the bus was full and I was sat in the front with the driver and his colleague which makes for a bit more of a squashed seat but it was ok. It is good to know that when all seats are booked on a shared journey that that includes the use of a front seat as well which although do recline it does not have the arm rests and other comforts of seats in the rear. Vouchers for drinks are given at one stop, one small bottle of water given on boarding the bus, food options are limited at the two stops particularly if you have children with you so we would recommend taking food (or at least your own choice of snacks) with you if possible. Both journey times were 6 hours with stops. On both journeys the drivers drove safely and calmly which we appreciated particularly on the very twisty road for the last part of the journey into Sapa.

My family and I used A21 Tours for private transport from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, and then again Ninh Binh to the Hanoi airport. They were easy to use, the drivers were on time, and the vehicle's were air-conditioned and clean. We had to move our flight several hours earlier due to weather, and they were still able to accommodate us and get us to the airport on time. It's cheaper to book directly through them, then try to use a tour platform like Viator or Get your guide on (though I use those platforms for other things). I would definitely recommend A21 for private transportation.
We used this service last minute to book transport from Ninh Binh back to Hanoi. Staff was professional, easily contactable. The limo arrived on time, very clean, comfy seats. The price is a bit more dearer than the other service we used prior but much better in value in my opinion. Would recommend.
Great bus transfer from Ninh Binh to Da Nang! The trip was great. We had contact from the company before updating us of weather conditions etc which was really useful. And we arrived early - seats were super comfortable and the toilet was very pleasant (most buses don’t have toilets so this was an added bonus). Would definitely use again!
Pleasantly surprised My partner and I went from Hoi An to Phong Nha. We were pleasantly surprised at the space. The lounge areas were nice to lay down in and have a sleep. Air conditioning was great and the massage on the chairs was another great surprise! Didn’t have wifi or a bathroom but you get breaks along the way. Also be aware if you are tall! It will probably be cramped!
Very good service, always checking in on WhatsApp to make sure everything was in order. We booked the train from Hue to Da Nang. Although the journey is long (almost 4 hours) it is worth it for the views at the Hai Van pass.
Sleeper Bus is worth the price but you need to bring wipes for stopovers. The cabins are spacious which is great. The bed was comfy with a massage option. The customer service is also good. The only thing that’s stopping me from giving this 5-star was the stopover. It was in the middle of nowhere and the toilets were disgusting.
Relaxing Limo Bus from Sapa to Hanoi Ordered a Limo Van trip back from Sapa to Hanoi for our family of 4. Im so glad we did this, as the train is great but not for both ways and we wanted to get back early in to Hanoi. The trip was great, van was super luxury, driver was courteous both to us and on the road and helped us with bags. We had one toilet stop on the way back. No probs, recommend highly

We used A21 to book our overnight bus from Phong Nha - Hanoi. We previously used 12**Asia to book our buses in Vietnam and we had no communication about our bus changes and was quite stressful. Perfect service! We got the VIP sleeper bus from Hanoi to Hue and the service was perfect. Customer service was on point and we were even collected by shuttle bus from our hotel and brought to the bus stop.

There was instant communication with nothing left to circumstances. Very professional, good and efficient communication Booked a train ticket from Quy Nhon to Da Nang. All online, communication via WhatsApp. They also specified my initial train was not available for that day and offered alternatives. The whole process took less than 1 hour, paid online and got the tickets. Also got a notification a day prior to the departure, with all the instructions, including a map location of the train station, so I knew all the time what to do, which is comforting as a traveler in a foreign country. I recommend them, they are very professional.

Go with this company I heard many stories about no communications and horrible riding conditions on other booking sites. But A21 was different. I took a van for Hanoi to Ninh Binh and back. Both times the communication through whatsapp was flawless. I'm guessing that they assign a person to you so that you are interacting with the same person the whole time. The agent for me was Phuong and she did an excellent job. Answering all my questions and updating me on when the van will arrive and checking to see if im on it. I also had to change the time of my trip and Phuong changed it no problem. As for the van, I believe they don't own the vans so they hire outside van companies. But I think A21 keep a close contact with them so that everything will run smoothly. Overall, very pleased to have gone with them. If you have any doubt, choose them and they will take care of you.

Hai van pass train ride I had been looking online to book a train from Da Nang to Hue via the hai van pass. Issues with online booking systems left me frustrated and a quick Google search brought me to this company. The price was the cheaper than seen by any other listed for the service. Parfait! En vacances au Vietnam dernièrement, je cherchais des transferts en voiture entre Saïgon et Can Tho d'une part et Can Tho et Rach Gia d'autre part. Je m'étais renseigné auprès des hôtels dans lesquels je devais séjourner mais les tarifs proposés me semblaient excessifs pour le Vietnam. Je suis tombé par hasard sur le site internet de A21 sur lequel plusieurs trajets en voiture sont proposés notamment entre Saïgon et Can Tho à un tarif qui m'a semblé raisonnable. Je les ai contactés par mail, j'ai eu une réponse dans les 20 minutes qui suivent confirmant les informations du site internet. A la suite de cela j'ai demandé si il pouvait également organiser le transfert entre Can Tho et Rach Gia. Là encore, j'ai eu une réponse positive 15 à 20 minutes après ma demande toujours à un tarif raisonnable. Après quelques échanges pour valider les modalités pratiques, j'ai reçu un devis reprenant ce dont nous avions convenu avec un lien pour le paiement. Pour chaque trajet, environ 1 heure avant le départ j'ai reçu un mail avec le nom du chauffeur, le modèle du véhicule et la plaque d'immatriculation. A chaque fois les chauffeurs sont arrivés à l'heure convenue. Les véhicules étaient "standards" mais propres et climatisés (nous n'en demandions pas plus) et nous sommes arrivés à destination dans les délais annoncés. Bref, nous sommes très satisfaits du service rendu et je recommande A21 pour l'organisation de trajets au Vietnam
Professional, efficient and excellent value We were looking online for the train information from DaNang to Hue and found A21 tours. From the start I was really impressed. Immediate responses to my what's appnquestions, patient and knowledgeable. They booked exactly what I asked for - window, forward facing and sent photos to show the train seating plan and seats. As we were there for just one day I asked about travel back to DaNang and they offered a really reasonable limo van ride and allowed me to specify seating as I'm not a good traveller at the back of a car. Again, excellent, efficient service so after this we used A21 for the rest of our trip. Every journey was excellent value and the communication was instant, correct and efficient. Highly recommended transfers We initially considered booking our transfer between Hanoi and Ninh Binh (Trang An) through 12go.asia, a popular platform. However, after seeing mostly underwhelming reviews regarding the transfer carriers, particularly concerning multiple vehicle changes (3-4 times), we opted for a more reliable option. We discovered a21tours's transfer services and decided to give them a try. Upon attempting to confirm our reservation through their provided payment link, we encountered an unknown error. After notifying their WhatsApp support, they promptly provided another link, which unfortunately still didn't work. Fortunately, they offered the option to pay the driver directly upon pickup, which was incredibly convenient. Despite initial uncertainty about whether the driver would drop us off at our remote Homestay, everything went smoothly, with only one vehicle change necessary due to the narrow path to our accommodation. We also booked our return transfer with them, which was equally hassle-free. The drivers were courteous and drove safely throughout the journey. Overall, no complaints about the experience.

Great experience! My wife and I used Cat Ba express to travel from Hanoi to Cat Ba and also did a day cruise with them on the Serenity Cruise ship. All the staff we met were professional and friendly, the bus was clean and comfortable with a rest stop half way. The transfer between bus and speed boat was smooth and easy. The day cruise was also a great experience. The serenity boat was lovely and the views around Lan Ha Bay were excellent despite some cloudy weather. They provided vegetarian options for lunch (albeit pretty basic). Our guide Phuc (AKA Tony) was brilliant and made the day fun and enjoyable.
Convenient transport to/from Cat Ba. It was very convenient using Cat Ba express to go to/from Cat Ba. They also picked up/dropped off at our hotel. The timing was on time as well.
Great way to travel We took the night train with King Express from Hanoi to Sa Pa and it was simply a perfect way to travel. I can highly recommend treating yourself to this experience. The cabin was clean and nice, the train ran smoothly and was exactly on time, the staff were so nice and we had a wonderful time and a good nights sleep arriving fresh and happy at Sa Pa. I'm so glad I read the reviews on Tripadvisor because I would have not otherwise known about Vic Sapa train. From the time booking Mrs Nguyen was impeccable, replying to emails promptly and offering all needed assistance. We chose a VIP cabin for 2 and actually had a very comfortable journey. Sure, the train swings, but you would have that with any company since it's one operator for the entire train. In fact, the swinging motion helped me fall asleep. The carriage is beautiful on the inside, our cabin was impeccably clean and so was the toilet throughout the entire journey, a huge plus. We also had free snacks and drinks in our cabin. Overall, a great experience, I only wish they would cover other train routes, we would surely book with Vic.
Already used A21 tours from Hanoi to Sapa and they were great so we asked them for a 5:00am pick to take us to the airport. At 10:00pm last night I received an email with the driver’s registration plate and a number to call if any issues. Well our street was flooded from the rains, shin deep but the driver found a stylish spot for us. In the car at 5:00am and 5 mins later received a WhatsApp message to make sure everything was ok. Highly recommend these guys- always turn up on time and keep you informed along the way.
Booked 2 VIP seats (middle 2 rows) as previously we had the rear seats which are over the the rear wheel axle, so a very uncomfortable ride. Different company, different seats made the world of difference. Arrived bang on time, given a cake and water. Wifi worked brilliantly. Two stops on the way for refreshments etc. Pickup and drop off from our hotels. Couldn’t fault them and highly recommend.

Use this company for your transfers! We organised our transfer from Hanoi airport to Cat Ba through A21 Tours. It was really efficient including checking we were clear where to meet and proving photos, timings and pick up car details. By far the best transfer we had in Vietnam. Very reasonable prices compared to others.
Great service / transport Due to a major storm, our train from Hue to Da Nang was heavily delayed (5/6+ hours).. A21 tours saved us! We messaged them on WhatsApp and booked seats on a van going within the next two hours, and with hotel pick up and drop off too! We were so happy with the service that we used them again the next day for another journey. They’re always super quick to reply and happy to answer any questions we have. Payment through PayPal is convenient and means it’s definitely a set price being paid.

沙壩綠巴士舒適且安排清晰良好 我和朋友從沙壩搭乘 Green Bus 前往河內，巴士很舒適。車上有一位女巴士助理，英文說得很好，還會重複播放預錄的廣播，確保每位乘客都清楚注意事項。 我們從河內到沙壩是搭乘另一家巴士公司，雖然也很舒適，但安排就沒那麼好。他們沒有清楚說明下一站何時抵達，完全沒有任何通知，巴士助理全程都在睡覺。而且只有一次上廁所的時間，對於一趟六小時的車程來說實在不夠。 我認為 Green Bus 可以改進的地方，是在旅途中多留意乘客的狀況。因為有些乘客在車上吃橘子（車上禁止飲食），還有人看劇沒戴耳機，實在很擾人。我只好自己請那個人把音量調低。如果巴士助理能幫忙處理這類情況，那就更好了。 整體來說，Green Bus 很不錯，如果我再來沙壩，一定會再預訂。
Green Bus is comfy - clear & good arrangement My friend and I took green bus from Sapa to Hanoi, the bus was comfy. There’s a girl as the bus assistant, who speak very good english and would repeat the pre-recorded broadcasts so to make sure everyone aware of the notices. We booked the other bus company from Hanoi to Sapa, it was also comfy but the arrangement is not better. Also they don’t have clear instruction about when is the next stop. No notice at all, the bus assistant was just sleeping. And only one toilet time which is not quite enough for a 6 hours trip. One thing i think green bus can improve is to pay more attention to the guests during the trip. As some of them were eating oranges in the bus which the bus is not allow eating. and some of them watching drama without an earphone, that was ignoring. I asked that person to volume down by myself. If the bus assistant can help for such then it would be even better. Perfect services! Used A21 Tours for a quite last minute pick up from Ha Long to Hà Noi. We used the shared limousine van. It arrived at our hotel on the agreed time and did a perfect drop off at the site in Ha Noi we agreed upon. All without any hassle. A real safe and comfortable drive thanks to an experienced driver and a very clean van! All in all I would definitely use A21 again a next time!
Great service! My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience with eco sapa. I contacted them on Facebook about a transfer from Hanoi to Sapa. They were very responsive and helpful and we stopped by their office in Hanoi to purchase our tickets for the following day. Very clean, very comfortable and a safe driver. The only downside was that the schedule changed slightly the day before so we could go and pick up other passengers from around Hanoi- this took a long while to drive around Hanoi and collect them and meant the transfer for us was longer as we were the first to be picked up. This was communicated to us beforehand though directly from the bus operators and they arranged an earlier pick up time for us to try and accommodate this. To be aware of: The driver didn’t speak English but the tour operators did so we had everything we needed to know before we set off from them, and any problems you can contact them directly on Facebook. Make sure you ask any questions you need from them. We made 2 stops for toilet and and food and made it to sapa in around 6 1/2 hours (again this was longer for us than usual). Would recommend Ecosapa for good communication and comfortable safe transfer. Thank you!

Great experience. We were treated like special guests throughout our trips. We were a group of four adults and the room was small but comfortable. The ride was as smooth as a train ride can be. The bunks were comfortable and the room was air conditioned so even the top bunks were cool. The bathroom was clean and very nice. We availed the transfer service from Hanoi to Sapa on October 30, 2019, and from Sapa to Hanoi on November 4, 2019. Overall, we had a good experience. We e-mailed the company directly in July 2019 to make our reservations. The interactions were smooth and timely. We specifically requested for the VIP seats (seats in the middle of the van) at the time of booking. Everything happened on our transfers as per the description. We were picked up slightly ahead of schedule from our hotel at Hanoi (in the Old Quarter). The scheduled rest stops were made, and we received the complimentary coupon at one of them. We were dropped off at our hotel in Sapa. The van was driven safely at all times. Air conditioning and wi-fi worked as expected. On the return journey, the pick up was delayed slightly due to traffic jams, but, from the time we were picked up from our hotel in Sapa, the rest of the journey was uneventful and went as per the expectations. We were dropped off at our hotel in Hanoi. Overall, we were happy with the service, and would choose the service again in the future if we have a need. Keep up the good work, team!

A nice way to travel to Sapa. We travelled from Hanoi to Lao Cai railway station on the Victoria Express. You then get transporting Sapa via mini buses about an hour away Check was pretty painless, they have a lounge at the station and you luggage is taken for you to the lounge. You get tea and a seat. There is a mini supermarket in the station downstairs to buy anything you need for the journey, prices in the lounge itself are high You get help to take you luggage to the train, they seen to call you in small groups to board You take all you luggage to your cabin. So can be a squeeze if it doesn’t fit under your bed. We had a 4 berth cabin for the two of us, it was okay. We use the spare duvets to lay on and the bed although a bit narrow was fine There is no restaurant car, there are two toilets which are clean and have hot & cold waterstaff onboard are friendly & helpful There is a power socket in the cabin to charge phones etc. & the WiFi worked well although did struggle with FaceTime You get two bottles of water, some people got fruit. The train departs at 22:00 and does shake about and is noisy but I slept on & off okay. They wake you at 05:30 with coffee or tea and a small croissant and you arrive at 06:00 Disembarking in easy & orderly I enjoyed the journey
The services they arr provided are very satisfying. The ordering process is easy, the operator, Miss Moon very friendly and always give quick respond. She is very helpful to answer a number of things. The bus is clean.Passengers are prohibited from wearing shoes and carrying food to maintain cleanliness. Instead, the bus stops at two stops to go to the toilet and eat.But the time allotted for eating is too fast, so I have to leave the foods. Certainly quite unfortunate. But beyond that, Green Bus provides very good service :)
Perfect services. Used A21 Tours for a quite last minute pick up from Hà Long to Hà Noî. We used the shared limousine van. It arrived at our hotel on the agreed time and did a perfect drop off at the site in Hà Noî we agreed upon. All without any hassle. A real safe and comfortable drive thanks to an experienced driver and a very clean van! All in all I would definitely use A21 again a next time!
Nice trip. We booked the VIP 2 berth cabin and the trip was nice. It is nicer than we thought or read from the other reviews. The cabin was clean and we had some freebies to enjoy during the trip. Staff are friendly and in good mood. We were warned not to take the morning coffee from the lady but we did and paid for it since it is just a small amount and she is quite polite and friendly. Highly recommend this train to everyone!

Great service comfortable bus. Very happy with our experience, the bus was so comfortable we were able to sleep almost the entire way to Sapa. The bus guide was very friendly, informative and was wearing the most jolly Christmas sweater ever :). Snacks and water were provided. The only downside was an annoying customer who’s phone kept going off very loudly.

Flexible, accommodating, and competitive. We booked multiple trips through A21 including airport pickup and drop off. The A21 crew was incredibly flexible. Our flight from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi was delayed by an hour. When we arrived, our driver was waiting for us and extremely helpful and happy. We also booked our Halong Bay tour through A21. Overall, the experience was top notch. For our trip to Sapa, we booked a private car with a driver for 3 days and 2 nights. Our driver was professional and accommodating. Just ok. We travelled in a 4 berth cabin on the King Express From Hanoi to Sapa. The rooms are very small so take as little luggage as possible. We left three bags in our hotel at Hanoi and just took what we needed in one bag on the train to save space. Mattresses are pretty hard and not very wide but we managed to get some sleep. Husband suffered motion sickness - it can get pretty rocky. Trip back to Sapa was better as we knew what to expect. A very basic journey but good if you would prefer to travel overnight.

Best Travel Service ever! A21 Tour provided the best travel service we have ever had abroad; easy, reactive and secure solution that allowed us to have a flexible trip. Found them when tried to book a car from Hanoi to Sapa, then ended up using A21 service 2 weeks across Vietnam. We booking our transfers (approx. every 2 days) always the day before; A21 guys always found an excellent solution in less than 10 minutes. We took 28 seat limousine bus to Sapa and it was most comfortable bus we rode during entire month trip in Vietnam. Very spacious, comfortable seats, lots of leg room. Nice English speaking tour guide Aurora.
Fun trip What a great way to travel. Our taxi dropped us at the wrong train station, but Chapa were great and got us to the train. We had a 4 berth deluxe that I booked online. We got water, soft drink, chips, nuts, toothbrush, comb, face wipe and ear plugs. The top bunks had better air conditioning but it was very comfortable, there was wifi and we took portable fans that you charge which was perfect for the bottom bunks. Loved the rocking of the train, easy to fall asleep. The private Chapa lounge on the station at the end was very disappointing. I enquired before I left about a shower and breakfast and they said yes all free, when we got there nothing was opened so we ended up going straight to our hotel and paying extra to get an early check in which worked out better. Highly recommend travelling with this company. The train has many carriages all owned by different companies, we were very happy with Chapa.

We went from Hanoi to Sapa in a sleeping bus. Everything was good, it took us 6 hours. At Sapa we could choose to stay in the bus until 6 AM or leave at 3 AM. The bus is very clean. But if u are taller than 1,75m u will get a bit trouble finding a good sleeping position. If u are 1,90+m take a place in the back!
Very pleasant journey from SaPa to Hanoi. We travelled on the VIP service from SaPa to Hanoi and despite the largely negative views this was a very pleasant experience. I am 6ft 2 and was comfortable throughout the entire journey. Driving did feel a bit erratic at times and travelling down from SaPa was a little unnerving but that’s par for the course once you decide to bus it instead of getting the train. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and cannot fault the experience. I have travelled on much worse back home and paid a lot more too. Information was translated into English too regarding stops and arrival in Hanoi which was helpful. Toilet on board was clean, which was impressive considering a lot of people struggle to keep a toilet clean even when they don’t have a moving bus to contend with.
Just took a sleeper from Hanoi to Sapa. The bus was clean with nice environment. The driver assistant was the best guy ever! Made a lot of jokes and made my experience better. Also, I lost personal stuff in the bus and Sunny helped me 3 times to search for it. Finally we found it and he made my day!
Fun and comfortable trip to Sapa! Not sure why there are so many mixed reviews on these overnight trains to Sapa, but my family had a wonderful time on Chapa Express. We were with two other families, for a total of 13 people. Each family was traveling with small children and we all had our own cabin with 4 beds in each cabin. The cabins were clean, the beds adequate, service was good, and the overall ride was not as bumpy as others have said. Would I do it again? Absolutely! It's a great way to get from Hanoi to Sapa without having to take a bus. The only benefit of taking a bus is you can go directly to your hotel in Sapa versus having to take a van from the train station. The trip from the station to our hotel took approximately 45 min. Other than that, I would highly recommend Chapa Express!

Shambles. The train itself was lovely, cosey and clean. But the organisation for the two women at Chapa Express was an utter shambles!!! First of all the one woman purposely waited till 9pm before she would give anyone a ticket,by which point there was a huge 'crowd'. There was no queing system in place and the two women would just wonder off mid way through speaking to you and ask another person to follow them. I witnessed one man be given four tickets, randomly, another man moan so the women took the tickets off the first guy and gave them to the second one instead. The tickets had not been pre allocated to people it seemed. And it didn't matter what your booking reference was. At 9.45 myself and another guy were finally listened to. By that point, each of us still wanting our two tickets, they said there was only two remaining tickets? The lady frantically flapped around and found two tickets with another company so no one was left behind. It just leaves a sour taste on a journey that turned out ok in the end. All of this could have been avoided if the woman was not such a jobs worth initially and if she had actually done her job in the first place and allocated each booking their tickets to just be handed over on the day.

Nice experience. We book Private Deluxe on from Hanoi to Lao Cai and VIP from Lao Cai to Hanoi. The experience was nice. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We could store our luggage below the bed. Water bottles provided. We were okay with the rumbling of the train while it is making its way on the track - we slept soundly. The toilet was near and clean. However, on our way back the tea lady asked us to pay 50,000 dong for what is supposed to be a free coffee or tea included in our VIP package. We didn't pay and she relented and gave us our coffee and tea for free. She didn't provide us with towels.
Depending on the car and the driver. We used the bus to go from Hanoi to Sapa and back. It's great that you are picked up at your hotel and get dropped off at your next hotel. Very convenient. The car on the first trip was quite new and the seats very spacious. Always try to book the VIP seats! The driver was great and drove relaxed. A very good trip. On the way back we had an older car. Also VIP seats, but space is limited. We had the fastest driver of the fleet. No other car was faster than us. In the mountains that was quite adventurous. This was a more rough tour. So, experience really depends on the car/driver. I can understand good and bad reviews now. In total I would use them again, it's quite convenient and the service is good.

Then toss in food, and entrance fees you wind up paying more, especially if you toss in a tour guide. With a lot more footwork work. Even if A21 is 6-8 bucks more it’s absolutely worth it. Great day out in Hanoi. A21 took us from Halong Bay to Hanoi for a day trip. Communication prior to the booking was excellent. We changed our drop off points with no problems. Drivers were courteous and bang on time each way. Luxury vip seats were worth the extra couple of dollars. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Pleasant and interesting experience. Bed, pillow and blanket are comfortable. Snack,drink and banana are given. The toilet is surprisingly clean. We are a team of six and we took two cabins. The young ones enjoyed the double deckers. We old folks enjoy the two bed cabin though its more pricey.

Luxury sleeper bus. If you are travelling to Sapa, look no further to book this sleeper bus. My children thoroughly enjoyed the experience, had a good sleep during the journey. Each bed is having sufficient privacy and is very comfortable.
The trip to halong bay. 1st and Foremost, the communication through whatsapp made this decision much easier as well as the price point considering the drive is 2-2.5 hrs long each way. The initial drivers was good, but they didn't account for my height, sooo if you're well over 6'3" i suggest you communicate that prior. So once i spoke to whomever was in charge, he literally exceeded expectation with the driver on the way back. A 7 seater car/van with Wi-Fi! Amazing way to redeem the experience. Thanks again. Highly recommend, bc the alternative is to haggle w Some local idiots that may pull the upcharge in the end. With a21, i paid weeks before our trip and never had a surprise cost, enough said.

Comfortable and safe ride. On arrival from Ninh Binh via train, we took the Chapa express to Sapa and was pleasantly surprised that it was clean, comfortable ride. Please note that to take the night train to Sapa, you’d have to walk about 10 minutes to the gate from Hanoi station. Gate is actually situated behind the main station, try google to find directions. Coming back to the cabin, the ride was a little noisy and shaky but we had a good night rest. Toilets were surprisingly clean and without smell of ammonia as some claimed. And compared to the Victoria express, which we took on our return leg to Hanoi, Chapa’s cabin was way more comfortable, bunks were a little wider and longer. To those that are undecided, I’d say choose Chapa express. You won’t regret saving that extra dollar that Victoria charges.

An experience! We did two trips with this company, overnight to and from Sapa to Hanoi. Both times we booked the VIP 2 berth sleeper cabin. This is a more costly option (US$170) but provides privacy and a bit more comfort. The cabin was nicely set up and lovely and quiet. Complimentary water, refreshing wipes and cookies as well as a drink on departure. As expected the train is noisy and there is a lot of motion but we slept surprisingly well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Added benefits of booking directly with the company (one way we did one way we didn't). - shuttle to hotel - complimentary ear plugs - much more attentive service. Overall a practical, safe and manageable way to travel.
We took a taxi for 2 from hanoi to ha long bay. The communication was excellent to book the taxi ( live chat on the website and what's app chat to update us). The driver came to our hotel in hanoi on time and dropped us off in our hotel in tuan Chau next to ha long bay with a little break on the road. Will recommend to all people!

A good agency, bought a ticket to go from Hanoi to Cat Ba, they have a whatsapp that is very effective, my bus was at 11 bus my hotel wasn't in the old quarter, ao I had to go to Cis coffee as a meeting point...and they were writing me at 10:59 to know if I was on the bus and calling them...good price and organization, would travel with them with no doubt. INTERESTING EXPERIENCE. I have travelled with sleeping bus many times but Fansipan Express cabin sleeping bus is completely different from all sleeping buses i used to use. With other sleeping bus , there are 3 rows , Fansipan Expres cabin bus has only 2 rows. each cabin is a private cabin and quite large. To be honest, i really scare of foot odor. i think i made a best choice for me. I slept so well.

Trip Hanoi to Sa Pa and back. I booked with A21 Tours our transfer from Hanoi to Sapa and back. They respond quickly to all questions, communication in English is flawless. I payed via PayPal months in advance, and the hotel pickup arrived just in time on the planned date. Great! They send you a reminder via WhatsApp one day before the trip, very nice service. Private car service used twice - efficient and safe. Found these guys on I think a google search. Easy to book using online form. They were super quick to respond with quote and answer questions (matter of minutes) Being able to use WhatsApp to reply and this WiFi was great. We used them twice for car service pick up at HPH Cat Bi airport to Halong Bay Hotel and then again from Halong Bay to Hanoi. Always on time and safe drivers. Would highly recommend.
Transport to and from Sapa from Hanoi Eco Sapa was easy to book and provided a safe comfortable ride between Hanoi and Sapa. You get a few stop on the way and they provide water and a bare bones breakfast, but what more do you need. As a plus, the van had usb ports and wifi, which was unexpected, but great. The communication for our return trip was a bit of a miss on the confirmation on time, but overall I would recommend.

Reliable, moderate proced, accurate, clean service. We had like 8 trips booked with A21. All of them were booked and negotiated via Whatsapp where their response was inmediate, straight to the point, fairly priced. And they delivered a very reliable service accordingly. Some of the trops were long and the drivers were prepared, kind and proactive on planning stops for rests/toilets etc. We used door-to-door service and everytine they showed up 5-10 minues before departure with a comfortable, clean vehicle which was exactly in line we agreed. I also checked prices against other service providers and they were more than fair, so I am not even thinking of getting around with any other transfer service provider. Keep up the good service
Helpful go-to company. Booking through A21 was super convenient and easy - they were also very responsive at communication with us so we felt confident in our plans. We also found ourselves needing transportation last minute after arriving in Vietnam- being able to hop on WiFi and contact them through WhatsApp was easy and they were able to arrange something for our needs.

Great Transport wirh best Karma! We took the Minibus from Hanoi to Halong and it was just perfect! The bus was brandnew, clean and we felt lile real VIP. The bus welas in time and the driver was absolutely nice! Best thing: I forgot my 150USD glasses in the van and the driver brought it to our hotel in halong the next day! Better Than Expected. Prior to my trip, i had read many negative reviews about this Train service so, it's an understatement to say i was really nervous. To my surprise, my cabin shared with 3 other strangers was pretty pleasant - the cabin was pretty clean and we saw no roaches. However, the cleanliness of the sheets is questionable as mine had a smell (travel with a sleeping bag liner) The AC was directly above our heads on the top bunk so, being frozen the entire night was very unpleasant. The public toilet was smelly but, if you're an Asian living in Asia like myself, it isn't anything too terrible, lol. The train left and arrived on good time. Perfection!! We stumbled over A21 only a few weeks before or trip to Vietnam. From the first minute, the contact was fast, professional and accurate. Where we were just looking for an airport transport to Hanoi, we rapidly felt comfortable to engage with A21 for most of our transport around Hanoi (from Hanoi to Halong Bay, Halong Nay to Ninh Binh and back to Hanoi). Excellent, professional and reasonably priced. Love these guys. I used them whilst getting from Hanoi to Halong Bay. Driver was helpful, polite and even concerned as to whether I had eaten! The trip was very comfortable and I would definitely recommend these guys. Communication was also excellent.
Great Service! Was looking for a Sapa to Noi Bai airport bus and came across this a21 website which had multiple bus options to get from Hanoi to Sapa as well. Finally decided to book my Hanoi to Sapa private cabin bus (under Fansipan Express) and Sapa to Noi Bai Airport (Green bus) from A21 tours. They were detailed in the communication and provide frequent updates to check with you up till the bus arrives. I was able to check with them when the Fansipan express bus arrival was delayed for the pickup from hotel. Payment online was quick and simple as well. Highly recommended.
Great Customer Service. We accidentally left our wallet on the bus from Sa Pa to the Hanoi airport, and A21 Tours was extremely helpful. They shipped it to our next location, Hoi An, within two days! Highly recommend. Plus, the bus was super clean.

I found A21 tours on Trip adviser and gave them a try and was amazed at how simple they make it , I booked all my airport transfers from them and paid via a WhatsApp link and also booked some sightseeing tours which I also paid for by WhatsApp link The communication that they give you throughout your stay in Vietnam and Hanoi is very clear and good and all the cars & drivers we had spoke clear English and there driving was exemplary I can not fault there service at all and there prices are very competitive, when I return to Hanoi I will 100% be using there services

Booked a seat and return ticket on a luxury van from Hanoi to Tam Coc to visit Mua Caves. Clean, comfortable seats (9 only not overcrowded) A/C. Changed my return date at the last minute, A21 arranged without issue. Communicated easily with their office via WhatsApp. Only issue, neither driver spoke English and both were frustrated race track drivers. Otherwise services were great, would use again.

Sapa to Hanoi with Ecosapa Limousine booked via A21. Group of 6 international travelers with big suitcases. Paid extra to ensure we had the limousine all to ourselves so that we could fit all our luggage. This was very important considering the amount of bags we had. We booked via A21 for a transfer from Sapa to Hanoi. Our driver, Than, from Ecosapa Limousines arrived on time and provided us with drinks and a plain bun for the journey. He was very friendly and we had some good laughs. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable.

Transport Hanoi to ha long bay. The company arrange transport for us very quickly and gave us good price (better than the ones in the airport)! The car and driver were very nice. It took us directly to the hotel, we feel like it was an amazing service!
We took the bus from Sapa to Catba. The organization and customer service was very good and the communication in very good English by WhatApp also helped a lot. I forgot my jacket on the bus and the company brought it to back to Catba. They really did a great job and were always replying to our communication.

We travelled to and from Sapa on the Victoria Express Train. We stayed in a 2-berth deluxe cabin. Although the fact that the cabins are very small, they are comfortable. We asked for more two pillows and they brought to us. The train has two different bathrooms in each carriage, both very clean. The problem was the terrible noise during all night long... Attention: book the whole cabin if you don't want to share it with strangers.
We travelled from Hanoi to Lao Cai and back on Sapaly Express Train. We boarded a large train comprised of a number of carriages owned by different companies, Sapaly Express being one of these. First impressions were good with clean bedding, a duvet, complementary crackers, water and toothbrush. The beds were hard but that seems to be the case in many of the hotels in which we've stayed. I think regardless of the company you travel with you are in for a slightly bumpy, noisy ride and a very average nights sleep. (It is also worth knowing if you have a speaker in your cabin this can be turned off!). We had some trouble locating the collection desk for our tickets in Hanoi station and no one appeared at the Sapaly Express desk in Loa Cai to collect our return tickets.
We recently travelled to Sapa on the Victoria Express Train. We stayed in a 2-berth deluxe cabin both ways and enjoyed supper in the dining car on the return journey. This is the premium service to Sapa and requires that you also stay in the Victoria Sapa Resort (see separate review). I was pleased we booked the double cabin, as the 4-berths looked pretty cramped if fully loaded. Of course, you can take the risk of booking the 4-berth and having the cabin to yourself, and in late-April this would have been a reasonable gamble. Our cabin was understandably compact but comfortable and intimate. The beds were firm and a good night’s sleep will elude most travellers. It’s important to note that while the carriages are allocated to the Victoria, they are still part of the same train that pulls the cheaper options, and it can be a bumpy ride at times. There are two bathrooms in each carriage – one slightly larger than the other. Both are well maintained and equipped – much better than I expected. Staff were excellent and the Victoria does look after you. In Hanoi we were guided (our guide) to a comfortable lounge across the road from the station where drinks and snacks were available. When the train was ready to leave we were ushered to the correct carriages. Our luggage was taken care of by staff. Make sure you use this service if you travel with the Victoria. Don’t go directly to the station. Supper in the dining carriage was great fun. There’s a compact but very pleasant range of hot and cold nibbles, with local beers, spirits, and good wine. You can opt for a pre-arranged dinner which we did not - the train departs quite late in the evening and we decided to eat beforehand. Some other guests obviously took up the option, but they looked far less relaxed than us! The Victoria Express train is the expensive option if travelling by train to Sapa, but is a great experience and a worthwhile indulgence.
