The laid-back, resort-style atmosphere here offers a peaceful alternative to An Bang’s livelier vibe, with shallow waters that are perfect for families with young children. This charming farming village is a 10-minute bike ride north of the beach. For over 400 years, locals have been cultivating organic vegetables without using any chemicals, creating a lush, fragrant landscape. Visitors are welcome to interact with local farmers and learn about their unique watering and fertilising methods.
An 18-metre covered bridge with a temple built right into it, this is the true icon of Hoi An. Dating back to the 1590s, it was a meeting point for Japanese and Chinese merchants, symbolising the town's multicultural history and creating an incredibly unique photo opportunity.
Originally built in 1697, this assembly hall is one of the largest and most impressive in Hoi An. It features intricate woodcarvings, beautiful statues, and elaborate dragon sculptures. The current building is dedicated to Thien Hau, the Goddess of the Sea, who many believe protects sailors and fishermen.
