Thai Vi Temple in Tam Coc is a serene and culturally rich destination that offers a perfect blend of history, spirituality, and natural beauty. Built during the Tran Dynasty in the 13th century, the temple was constructed to honor King Tran Thai Tong and his successors for their contributions to Vietnamese history.

• Best Time of Day: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM. This is the ultimate spot for sunset. Watching the sun dip behind the karst peaks while the valley glows in orange hues is an unforgettable experience.

3. Visit Bich Dong Pagoda

Known as the "Second Most Beautiful Cave in Vietnam," this ancient complex consists of three pagodas built into the mountainside. The pagoda consists of three levels: Ha Pagoda, Trung Pagoda, and Thuong Pagoda. As you ascend, you’ll discover intricately carved wooden altars, statues of Buddha, and serene spots for meditation, all framed by the mountain’s rugged beauty. The entrance, with its stone bridge and lotus pond, is incredibly picturesque.

Tam Coc is best explored on two wheels. Renting a bicycle allows you to wander through small villages, hidden alleys, and along the edges of the rice fields where you can see local life up close.

• Best Time of Day: Late Afternoon (3:30 PM onwards). The temperature is much cooler, making the ride comfortable as you explore the rural paths between Tam Coc and the nearby Thai Vi Temple.
