  • Although the train routes are exciting, if you are looking for a luxury/European-standard quality train then should lower your expectations before considering the train operated by Vietnam Railways. The system & facility – somewhat – are old with the almost hundred-years-old train tracks and some parts are not well maintained.
  • For more privacy, you should book whole cabin tickets.
  • Passengers should book train ticket from Hue to Hanoi at least 2 days before the departure date to ensure ticket are available.
  • Don't try to book a ticket within 5 hours of the departure time as the system stops selling tickets around that time. In case you need urgent booking help, please contact us directly on WhatsApp for assistance.

Luggage allowance

Carry-on Bags: The train cabins are allowed to carry baggage not to exceed the weight limitation of 20 kgs of adults and 10 kgs of children. This baggage should be wrapped neatly and reliably.

Cancellation policies

  • More than 15 days before arrival: A refund is possible but with 10% of the total price charged as the handling fee
  • 15 days to 5 days before departure date: 50% of total price will be refunded;
  • Within 5 days before departure date: No refund;
  • Passenger not showing up: No refund
