There are 5 Reunification Express trains that run daily from Hue to Hanoi city route, including SE8, SE6, SE4, SE2, SE20. It takes about 11-12 hours to travel by train via 688 km route. Reunification Express trains serve 3 kinds of tickets: Soft seat, 6-berth cabin, and 4-berth cabin

Although the train routes are exciting, if you are looking for a luxury/European-standard quality train then should lower your expectations before considering the train operated by Vietnam Railways. The system & facility – somewhat – are old with the almost hundred-years-old train tracks and some parts are not well maintained.
For more privacy, you should book whole cabin tickets.
Passengers should book train ticket from Hue to Hanoi at least 2 days before the departure date to ensure ticket are available.

We will priority reserve the lower berth in case it is available
For group booking together, we will arrange the passengers in the same cabin

Luggage allowance

Carry-on Bags: The train cabins are allowed to carry baggage not to exceed the weight limitation of 20 kgs of adults and 10 kgs of children. This baggage should be wrapped neatly and reliably.

Cancellation policies

More than 15 days before arrival: A refund is possible but with 10% of the total price charged as a handling fee
15 days to 5 days before departure date: 50% of total price will be refunded;
Within 5 days before departure date: No refund;
Passenger not showing up: No refund
