King Express train has 26 berths with deluxe and VIP cabins, accompanied by the hospitality of King express train staff. All berths are wooden-paneled, air-conditioned with individual reading lights, baggage storage. Commuters are served with a drink in the morning upon arrival to Lao Cai or Hanoi.
Type of tickets
King Express train offers 3 types of cabins as
- Deluxe 4-berth tickets (4 berths in a cabin): Max 4 passengers
- Deluxe 2-berth tickets (2 berths with folded upper berth): Max 2 passengers
- Vip 2-berth cabin (2 berth cabin): Max 2 passengers
For the 4-berth cabin, you can book either shared tickets or a whole cabin (private option) (E.g. you can book a private cabin of 4 berths for your group of 1, 2, or 3 people for enjoying the privacy that no others will share your cabin)

Booking Train Tickets

Hanoi to Sapa Travel.
Such a great way to travel to Sapa. Very reasonably priced!The cabins were clean and snacks/water were provided.
It was difficult to sleep due to the noise of the train, however, this was outweighed by the accessibility and ease of travel from Hanoi to Sapa

Great way to travel.
We took the night train with King Express from Hanoi to Sa Pa and it was simply a perfect way to travel. I can highly recommend treating yourself to this experience. The cabin was clean and nice, the train ran smoothly and was exactly on time, the staff were so nice and we had a wonderful time and a good nights sleep arriving fresh and happy at Sa Pa. Don’t miss out on this.
