Halong Sonata was built in 2024 with the design of Yatch combined with traditional Junk. It is made of steel decorated with wood and leather making the elegance and durable capability against the salty water of Halong Bay. It is the biggest day cruise in Halong Bay at the moment.
Sonata Cruise has 3 main decks as: Sonata restaurant on the first floor with a kitchen backyard, Sonata Bar & Lounge on 2nd floor with comfortable sofa and chairs for relaxing during the cruise. We also set up a dimmer stage where musicians can play music in the afternoon with a hi-fi stereo system and LED screen. On the 3rd floor, the open sundeck for sunbathing and sightseeing is ideal for you. We also created a mini swimming pool to chill out in case you do not want to swim on Titop Island. With all the necessary luxury facilities aboard, you could have a perfect day cruising via thousands of limestone islands and enjoy the attentive service of our crew members.
Sonata Cruise Itinerary
8:00 – 9:00: Tour guide picks you up from the Hanoi Old Quarter then you depart for Halong City with a short stop on the Expressway and a visit to a Pearl Workshop to learn about the process of creating real pearls.
From Tuan Chau Island: Sonata Waiting Lounge at Pier No. 21
11:45 – 12:00: Arriving at Tuan Chau Island and entering the private waiting lounge to board the Halong Sonata Cruise, you begin your enchanting 5.5 to 6-hour journey through the scenic 2-day sleeper cruise route, renowned for its stunning, uninhabited islets and rock formations. A buffet-style lunch (or set menu, depending on the number of passengers) will be served on board.
14:00 – 16:30: Exploring Bo Hon archipelago to visit the Surprising Cave with its great impressive stalagmites and stalactites. Next, you will visit Titov Island where you can swim on the sandy beach or climb to the peak for a panoramic view. The final stop is Luon Cave where you can choose to kayak or to join a bamboo boat rowing to explore the hidden lagoon.
16:30: Returning to the ship for a Sunset Party, enjoying a Live Traditional Music Performance as the ship cruises back to Tuan Chau Harbor. You will have a great time chilling out with friends on Upper Deck with unforgettable moments.
18:00: Disembarking and getting on the bus to Hanoi with a short break along the way.
20:30 – 21:00: The tour guide will bid you farewell at your hotel.

Tips for tour guide and personal expenses
Pick-up & drop-off outside Hanoi Old Quarter ( You should come to 20 Hang Muoi St, Hoan Kiem Dist, Hanoi at 7:45 AM for departure).
Pick-up and drop off service
The tour guide and bus will come to pick up at the hotel around the Hanoi Old Quarter. The pick-up time will be flexible within 30 minutes; You will fill in your hotel name and address at the checkout page.
If passengers stay outside the Hanoi Old Quarter, the meeting point will be in front of Hanoi Opera house.

Cancellation due to bad weather
If the cancellation is announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, the following policies will be applied:
During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
