Located right at the center of Central Vietnam, Danang is the third largest city in Vietnam, balancing the role of Hanoi to the North and Ho Chi Minh city to the South. The city is quite young compared to its neighber Hue, but its dynamism is unbelieveable. Lacking historical architectures, Danang attracts tourists by its natural beauty, modern buildings and mouthwatering cuisine. When traveling to Danang, remember to visit the iconic Marble Mountains––a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble reflecting Vietnamese belief of Wu Xing. Also, to the mountain of the west lies Ba Na hills, a themepark featuring a European village. The park not only serves as an entertainment complex but also helps tourists escape the heat of the city below. At the late afternoon, spend some time at SonTra peninsula where the last light of gradually disapears into the horizon. Don't forget to take some photos at Dragon Bridge, the new symbol of the city. At night, the lights at the bridge are the most vivid, forming a colorful dragon moving its body past the romantic Han river. Danang is also famous for its cuisine which is characterized by the use of seafood and fresh ingredients such as My Quang, Banh Beo and Cao Lau.
