Trang An

Trang An is a symphony of stone and water, where karst peaks rise dramatically from mirror-like rivers. As a dual UNESCO site recognized for both its natural and cultural values, this sanctuary invites you to lose yourself in a landscape that feels like a living silk painting, offering a profound sense of peace and timelessness.

How to get there?

Located approximately 95km south of the capital, Trang An in Ninh Binh Province is exceptionally easy to reach via multiple transport modes. From the capital, the Hanoi to Ninh Binh route is most popular via luxury Limousine vans, which offer door-to-door service in 1.5 to 2 hours for approximately 250,000 VND to 350,000 VND ($10.00 to $14.00 USD). For those traveling from the coast, the Haiphong to Ninh Binh journey can be done via private car for about 1,600,000 VND ($64.00 USD) or shared shuttle buses starting at 250,000 VND ($10.00 USD). If you are coming from the northern highlands, the Sapa to Ninh Binh route is best served by overnight "cabin" sleeper buses or private transfers; a private sedan for this long journey costs around 4,800,000 VND ($192.00 USD). While there are no direct planes to Ninh Binh, travelers can fly into Noi Bai (Hanoi) or Cat Bi (Haiphong) and continue via limousine. For a scenic alternative, the Reunification Express train stops at Ninh Binh station, with tickets ranging from 100,000 VND to 250,000 VND ($4.00 to $10.00 USD), from where a short 15-minute taxi will bring you to the gates of Trang An.
