The train from Da Nang to Ninh Binh is the best transport option on this route. Local sleeper buses, while available, tend to be quite old and bumpy and uncomfortable for long journeys, not suitable for a restful night's sleep. Additionally, since there are no direct flights from Da Nang to Ninh Binh, travelers still have to travel 130 kilometers (approximately 3 hours) from Noi Bai Airport after the flight from Da Nang.

The best part of the train from Da Nang to Ninh Binh is part via Hai Van pass with mpressive and breathtaking view. Please take that note on your schedule.
Although the train routes are exciting, if you are looking for a luxury/European-standard quality train then should lower your expectations before considering the train operated by Vietnam Railways. The system & facility – somewhat – are old with the almost hundred-years-old train tracks and some parts are not well maintained.
For more privacy, you should book whole cabin tickets.
